Are you an experienced software contractor living in Japan? Orb is currently seeking iOS/Swift and full-stack developers for contracts up to six months in length. The ideal iOS/Swift contractor will be proficient in coding for iOS using MVC best practices. Responsibilities will include enhancing our collection of field test applications for iPhone and mentoring junior developers on proper coding techniques for iOS. The ideal full-stack contractor will be self-sufficient and fluent in golang (preferred), java, or python. Responsibilities will include implementing Orb’s proprietary distributed payment technology into an existing RESTful API layer, with a small amount of additional work on front-end web features. Orb is happy to pay domestic market rate for experienced developers. For that reason we prefer to contract with individuals currently living in Japan who are able to spend a significant portion of their time at the Orb HQ in Tokyo.
